The Evans family came to Talybont in 1971 to farm Neuaddfawr and laterTynrhelyg an
adjoining farm. The unit is farmed as one by our son David assisted by his wife
Jennifer and their sons Sion and Hefin.
Their second son Rhydian is a qualified farrier and runs his business from home .
Their daughter Medi hopes to make a career in music.
David’s sister, Glenys,is an Occupational Therapist and lives in America,she is married to Glenn who is a Commander in the Coast Guard; they have two children Megan and Tristan.
The Senior Citizen of the family, Evan, now looks after the holiday cottages assisted by his family and outside help.
We have been very impressed by the response we’ve had during our relatively short time of letting, and have made many friends during this time.
We were honoured recently by being appointed as ‘Tourism Ambassadors’ for the
Cambrian Mountains Initiative.This was set up by HRH The Prince of Wales to recognise
high quality tourist establishments that contribute to the overall sustainablity of the region
and encourage visitors to connect to the countryside and culture of the Cambrian Mountains.
